Over 3 decades ago, Lynne created Class Act Studios, a one-of-a-kind acting school geared to help children and adults explore their imagination while achieving their goals and dreams in the entertainment industry. Lynne is best known for the success of many child stars she has managed since launching Tannen's Talent in 1984. She has continued to share her knowledge and expertise with those who would like to explore the world of television & film.
Some of Lynne's success stories include Broadway performances on Kinky Boots, Miss Saigon and The Lion King . Her talented TV stars are currently seen on NBC's Blindspot, ABC's Single Parents, Nickelodeon and hundreds of TV commercials. Tannen's clients have worked with notable stars such as Julia Roberts, Victoria Justice, Helen Hunt, Brad Garrett, Charlotte Rae and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few.
Lynne bridged the gap between children who want to audition through her managment company and gave them a place where they can feel comfortable learning and honing in on their craft here at Class Act Studios.
Class Act originated & held workshops in our New York studio for over 35 years. As of March 1, 2021, we have moved all of our coaches and programs virtually to help share the knowledge & excitement from Hollywood to Bollywood. We will continue to offer online training to kids, teens and adults who are looking for a career in acting or for those who simply want to have fun and perhaps try new things.
Lynne is also available by appointment for private online acting lessons.

Jan was the production manager at The Actors Studio in New York City and has also taught in their West Hollywood office during and after the tenure of Lee Strasberg. Jan has worked closely with many celebrities including Ellen Burstyn, Harvey Keitel, Drew Barrymore & Al Pacino. She was Angelina Jolie's first acting coach which began at the tender age of 12 years old.
With over 30 years of teaching experience, she brings a knowledge of creativity as well as development. She can guide her students toward blending their artistic expression with the technical requirement of their particular genre of work.
Jan has a passion for teaching the art of Shakespeare. It is brilliant as she so effortlessly is able to teach our students the technique and guide them as they learn how to break down each character. However, the real thrill comes when they actually enjoy reciting "Puck".
Jan's daughter, Julie Pacino is a producer and writer who recently cast Julia Stiles in Phoenix - We laughed lots while watching this funny, off-beat romantic comedy at the Cherry Lane Theater in N.Y.C.
Al Pacino (Julie's dad ) calls Phoenix "Beautiful with very clear direction". It is apparent that talent runs in this family.

He also is the narrator for many childrens books.
Nick has worked and trained with Jerry Seinfeld, Kathleen Chalfant, Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy, to name a few. Nick can be seen performing at The Comic Strip and Carolines Comedy Club in N.Y.C. He says that stand-up helps him flex his brain and he enjoys that challenge; hence the reason he is heading our sitcom and comedic scene classes.
