Each workshop costs $325.00 for a seven week session. You may also enroll in our MINI ACADEMY which enables you to meet twice a week and offers you a choice of enjoying two different workshops simultaneously. The cost for the Mini Academy is $625.00 for a seven week session.
Class Act is excited to offer our Academy for serious actors. The Academy is a full 8 hour/day action packed intensive course. It is a fast paced session that offers commercial and film training in the morning followed by soap opera and musical theatre training in the afternoon. (yes we break for lunch...must fuel those energetic bodies) Lots of training packed with loads of fun! The cost of this all day Saturday workshop is $1200 and meets every Saturday for seven weeks. SPRING SESSIONS ARE NOW LISTED FOR ALL WORKSHOPS!
Every Class Act Studio acting class is offered in three experience levels:
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Advanced
A non-competitive introduction to the world of acting for ages: 3-5 yrs. These workshops are designed specifically for the non-reader with an emphasis on "role playing", creative drama and improvisation. See how thrilled your child becomes when they see themselves on TV for the first time! Lots of fun with imaginary characters created with the help of our "prop closet"!
All Tiny Tot programs will begin on Tuesday, April 27th from 4:00pm-6:00pm for seven weeks.
Designed to help the child be comfortable in an audition, to follow directions and have fun while working with props and other actors. This positive, enjoyable approach will build confidence and give the child basic acting skills, script analysis and fun with improvisation; while developing a naturalness and believability in front of the camera. Watch your child perform on video playbacks.
All T.V. Commercial Kidz Klasses will begin on Monday, April 5th from 6-8:00pm and/or Wednesday April 7th from 4-6pm for seven weeks. You may choose to register 1x or 2x per week.
Weekend classes are also available which meet every Saturday beginning May 1st from 9-1pm.

Learn step-by-step commercial acting techniques that will make you "sparkle" in front of the camera. See yourself on video playbacks as you learn how to audition with scripts and cue cards. You will experience the audition process every week. Your confidence will build in this class. You'll learn the basics in a non-threatening fun filled environment. You will learn how to market yourself professionally. How to get an agent, how to write a resume and the all important question...how to get work, will be discussed; so that you will be ready to embark on this exciting career. A very informative and necessary workshop.

Students learn how to work together on feature films with authentic scripts. This is an on-camera acting workshop which includes audition monologues and cold readings with adult professional actors and actresses. Learn how to feel comfortable and relaxed with actors portraying your new "sibling" or "grandparent" in film roles and enjoy watching yourself perform on video playbacks every class.
All Film Study workshops for Teens & Adults will begin on Tuesday, April 20th from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

STUDENTS MUST MEET CERTAIN ACTING QUALIFICATIONS TO ENROLL IN THIS CLASS. A class for actors with some experience. Hit comedy shows are used as a template for all classes. Students work with scripts from actual episodes of their favorite televison sitcoms. Emphasis is placed on characterization, timing, playing scenes within a scene and timely preparation. This is a fast paced class with intensive study/script memorization. Each actor plays several different roles with video playbacks of taped performances. Terrific class for "soap opera" actors and wannabe's. SKETCH COMEDY is introduced while we learn how to personalize & write some of our own scenes.
All Sitcom Workshops will begin on Tuesday, April 20th from 6:00pm-8:00pm for seven weeks.
Interview For Acceptance to this program is required.
These classes promote creativity and spontaneity. Excellent for the child or teen who needs help with expressing or exploring their imagination. Includes on-camera, color video playbacks of all performances. Improv can help your acting, as you free up your inhibitions and to create characters you never thought you had in you. This can greatly help you at auditions and on the stage. This workshop will also focus heavily on musical theatre... how to perform on the stage as well as behind the scenes. Students will be involved with everything including the casting process (all students perform in a role!) and will work on an entire play from beginning to end that will be showcased for all parents.
All Improvisation & Musical Theatre workshops will begin on Tuesday, April 20th from 4:00pm-6:00pm for seven weeks.

For the more experienced actor, or for those who have taken one of our beginner workshops. You'll see yourself on video playbacks as you sharpen your skills in this advanced class for TEENS. You will be presented with more challenging scripts and will be working with props, other actors and do improvisational auditions, as well as industrial film auditions. Learn how to tell stories and joke on camera with natural ability.
All Scene Study workshops will begin on Wednesday, April 7th from 6:00pm-8:00pm for seven weeks.
The perfect class for all those "campy and dramatic" performers... Yes, we have it all - Our soap scenes, derived from actual episodes of your favorite shows will allow you the opportunity to portray your well loved or most despised soap star! Come on guys and girls, ladies and gents...let's meet for some fun.
All Soap Opera and Script Analysis workshops will begin on Monday, April 5th from 6:00pm-8:00pm for seven weeks.
Private Tutoring for script preparation and screen tests
Please contact a Class Act Studios representative to schedule a private tutoring session. This may be for private lessons to sharpen your acting skills or perhaps you need help with a film audition/call back. Whatever your focus, the staff is here to assist you either after school, weekends or in the evenings.
Please note: If you have been given "sides" for an audition that you need instruction with; it is best if you can fax or email them to Class Act in advance.
(this way our staff can better prepare for you when you arrive for your session.)
