Alyssa received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire where she majored in theater with an emphasis in performance technique and children’s theater education. Upon graduation she moved to Los Angeles where she spent the next several years working with some of the best L.A. has to offer such as casting director Terry Berland and the amazing staff at Second City Improv.
After moving to N.Y., 4 years ago, Alyssa continues to captivate her audiences in theater & film. Her recent accomplishments include TV commercials for Lend America, Slipperoo’s and McDonalds. She was also seen in TV shows such as Grounded for Life, Boston Public and Ally McBeal.
Recent directing credits include High School Musical, Once on this Island and Alice in Wonderland. She brings her passion and enthusiasm in drama, coupled with her industry knowledge, to teach our students the craft of acting. Alyssa is available for private coaching to help prepare our students for successful auditioning experiences.
Vin has been performing since he was a child and uses his hands on knowledge of the industry to teach and direct others whose interest lies in the arts. He appeared recently in a hilarious skit on the Rachael Ray show. Vin credits much of his success to his long-time passion & dedication in the business. You may also recognize Vin's distinct voice on the radio as the N.J. Lotttery's spokesperson.
Directing talents include Elaine Mays, "The Way of all Fish" and the award winning production of "Mona Lisa". His original production of "Crashing" earned him a best director nomination.
Vin enjoys using his skills training our beginner students to gain confidence and understand the “ins & outs” of show biz while continuing to help our intermediate and advanced students shine.
Trudy trained with Herbert Berghof & Uta Hagen and attended regular workshops with Anthony Hopkins & Mike Nichols. She has taught acting to both children & adults for the past 25 years, students have included Claire Danes and Amanda Peet.
Trudy has directed many theater productions in NYC such as "Blessings" by Mary Hall Surface, and "The Noise Room" by Ruth Mckee. Her acting credits include "When The Young Wine Blooms" ,with Celeste Holm. Trudy has also appeared as a day player in "All My Children".
Alexis received her training in dance, theater, and voice / speech at the Hartt School, and at Carnegie Mellon.
A professional actress/singer since the tender age of 8 yrs. Alexis starred both on and off Broadway, having made her Broadway debut playing the role of Melanie in “The Goodbye Girl”. Her many off Broadway productions include such favorites as “Gypsy”, “Winnie the Pooh”, "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “Little Shop of Horror’s". She toured nationally in “Annie Warbucks”.
Alexis has a natural ability working with children and a strong desire to teach them the ‘tricks of the trade”.
Paul is the Senior Television Producer in N.J. for the National Basketball Association. He has trained many production assistants as well as crew and talent over the years. Paul’s work is regularly seen throughout New York City and his clients include Pepsi Cola Co., Time Warner, Inc, and NY One News.
Paul has a variety of teaching experience including theater, improv, sketch comedy and voice overs for radio.
